Martha Madison is a Texas native and a graduate of Texas A&M University. Since earning her degree in Psychology, she has worked in all levels of restaurant management. Starting as a bartender in NYC in 2000, Martha worked and trained under the world renowned mixologist, Julie Reiner. For the next three years, she worked her way from Bar Management to General Management, and in 2003, opened Luna Park Restaurant in Los Angeles with her husband. Together they opened and operated 5 more restaurants throughout LA, San Francisco and NYC where she served as VP and Director of Operations for the Luna Park Restaurant Group. Martha is best described as a "people person" as she loves to discover and cultivate what makes each individual "tick". Based in Los Angeles, Martha enjoys movies, traveling, date nights and spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter and their lovely Vizsla, Winston!
President- One Haus
Agatha Kavanaugh is President of One Haus and has led the company from a NYC based boutique hospitality recruitment agency to a national brand with locations in Los Angeles, Austin, Dallas, Miami and Connecticut. She has helped to build infrastructure, systems and policies while also spearheading the company's internal recruitment of team members. Additionally, she personally leads the firm's most critical corporate and unit level recruitment needs for high-level hotel and restaurant clients. Before joining One Haus, Agatha was a corporate trainer for LA-based Hillstone Restaurant Group and a private equity analyst researching and recommending investments in the hospitality sector. Agatha’s background in financial research and consulting brings a strategic eye towards identifying and retaining top talent. Based in Dallas, she holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Political Science from UCLA.

Mike Hewitt has over thirty years of experience in all aspects of the hospitality industry, ranging from operations, brand development, human resources, building and scaling small companies, consulting and recruiting. With this extensive insight ranging from fine dining to fast casual, large restaurant groups to single mom & pop operations, Mike brings a deep understanding of operator needs, having been there once himself. Mike’s approach to building his team at one haus has been to focus on their unique personality traits, deep understanding of hospitality operations and fierce & relentless drive and resourcefulness. Mike is also the creator, producer and host of the hospitality-based RECRUIT.RETAIN.RELAX radio show on Heritage Radio Network. Mike is founder and partner in greenhausHR, a comprehensive human capital management platform servicing the Cannabis sector. Mike has Political Science and Business Management degrees from Lehigh University and a post graduate degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne.
Director of Recruitment
Having over 18 years experience in the restaurant industry, Ryan started his love for the business in a 120 year-old Inn in his hometown of Pinehurst, North Carolina when he was 16. Also playing professional golf on a mini circuit based out of Charlotte, NC for a few years he found he needed to bartend to make some extra money between tournaments. Since, Ryan has managed a wide range of restaurants and bars between Charlotte and New York City. Ryan’s passion for the hospitality business and the understanding for Operations made him want to move to New York City to further his career. He has worked with award winning chef Einat Admony, Williamsburg’s Berry Park and most recently with Restaurant tycoon Stephen Starr acting as onboarding & orientations manager for STARR Restaurants at Buddakan. Ryan’s other passion, travel, has trekked him to five different continents and over 25 countries. He also enjoys to play golf, basketball, hiking, live shows and his occasional beach trips during his free time.
Director of Recruitment
Growing up in a large Italian family, Allyson’s passion for food and hospitality was instilled at a young age. Having over 15 years in the restaurant business, Allyson worked her way up through the industry and held numerous leadership roles along the way. However, her true professional success came when she relocated to New York City in 2010. There she served as Director of Events for the iconic il Buco restaurant group, where they received 3 stars from the New York Times during her tenure. More recently serving as Director of Sales for the growing hospitality brand, Casa Nela. Allyson embodies the hospitably mantra of "putting the guest first” in both her personal and professional lifestyle. When not working, she cherishes time with her husband, son and 2 French bulldogs. She enjoys travel, dining and the occasional soulcyle class. Allyson loves the island of Martha’s Vineyard and can be found clamming or preparing meals outdoors for her family and friends.
Born in Washington D.C. Peer embarked on a culinary journey from coast to coast spanning 24 years starting in Los Angeles, which involved working every single front of house position all the way to the role of General Manager. An opportunity presented itself that allowed Peer to move back to Washington D.C. and work with Celebrity Chef Jose Andres. From there Peer moved back to the West Coast and began his work in Hotel Restaurant Management. Eager to start a family, Peer moved to Austin Texas where he worked with Celebrity/Top Chef Alum Brian Malarkey. Eventually the mountains of Western North Carolina came calling and Peer decided to settle there. In his off time you can find Peer spending nearly all his time with his beautiful wife Vivian and daughter Coraleigh. Since food and beverage is in his blood Peer's favorite activity is firing up his trusty backyard smoker to feed his neighborhood authentic Texas style BBQ.
